Stacey Solomon’s pal sets the record straight on ITV Loose Women future as fans question mysterious absence

Stacey Soloman has been a famous face on Britain’s TV screens since she auditioned for X-Factor back in 2009, winning the hearts of the nation.

Since then, the 35-year-old has launched a haircare range, become a popular TV show host, and had five children with husband Joe Swash, but most popularly has become a staple on ITV Loose Women.

However, eagle-eyed fans have noticed Solomon’s prolonged absence from the daytime talk show, raising eyebrows as to whether she has been axed.

The presenter was last seen on ITV’s Loose Women in December 2024, as a guest on their groundbreaking 25-Hour Talkathon.

While proving to be one of the most popular hosts on the show, likely due to her young age, she has failed to appear on the show in 2025, prompting fans to speculate on the reason for her disappearance.

Despite the mum-of-five being a fan favourite on the show, a series insider reports the star is “just to busy” to appear regularly.

“Stacey is always welcome back and is absolutely still considered part of the Loose family,” the source said to The Sun. “But, at the moment, she’s so busy with personal projects and her kids that she never seems to find the time.”

“But they’d have her back in a heartbeat. They love her and there’s no ill feeling towards her at all.

“She is just simply too busy to do it right now.”

In 2023, Solomon took time off her presenting duties following the birth of her youngest daughter, Belle. She admitted, with her busy schedule and motherhood, she had little time to give to Loose Women.

After returning to the panel in November, Solomon said: “I’m so happy to be here. I feel like I’ve missed it so much. It’s been crazy because my daughter Belle was a wonderful surprise, but what that meant was I had to fit my filming schedule into a very short period of time.

“So I’ve just been up and down the country with Sort Your Life Out and filming another show, Bricking It, so I haven’t been able to even get into town.”

In 2021, Solomon landed the role of hosting BBC Sort Your Life Out, a lifestyle show aiming to help families transform their homes with a life-changing declutter, as they upcycle and recycle their way to a new home.

All of the homeowners possessions are taken to a warehouse, and laid out one by one. From there, they will choose what to let go of, and what will return to their reorganised home.

The show has been a huge success, and has landed itself five seasons.

When not in-front of the camera, the 35-year-old is living a jam-packed life, travelling all over the world. She has recently been holidaying with her eldest son Zach, 17, in Paris, and launching her latest Rehab hair care product in Lake Como.

Despite welcoming her fifth child in 2023, close friends to the celeb hint she may be thinking about having a sixth.

“Everyone thinks she and Joe will try for another baby,” a source said. “Stacey absolutely loves being a mum and she’s openly spoken about adding to the family, so no one would be surprised if she wanted to go that route.”

As well as sons Zach and Leighton, 13, from previous relationships, Stacey shares Rex, Rose, and Belle with Joe, who himself has a son, Harry, 17.
