Jenna Ortega has caused a meltdown among television and fashion fans alike with her red carpet appearance at this year’s Emmys.
The Wednesday star, 22, attended the star-studded event at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles just weeks after her Netflix series shot to the top of the charts with its second season.
For the occasion, Ms Ortega opted for a jewelled Givenchy number, although it’s safe to say it left little to the imagination.
Made up of mismatched jewels, Ms Ortega narrowly avoided baring all as she went braless in the daring outfit.
Before long, images of Ms Ortega went viral on social media, and her fans wasted no time in expressing their admiration and glee at the actress turning heads.

“Jenna ortega has the best look of the night #emmys,” a second proclaimed before a third weighed in: “God is a woman and her name is jenna ortega.”
And a fourth echoed: “I still don’t know how to handle seeing Jenna Ortega on the red carpet, I think I’m going to faint, it’s too much beauty for my eyes.” (sic)
She paired the daring piece with a navy black skirt featuring an ultra-high thigh split.
The striking top, designed by Sarah Burton, had previously been worn by Anne Hathaway in a Vogue photoshoot earlier this year.

Ms Ortega kept her styling deliberately understated, choosing strappy black heels, pearl stud earrings and a coordinating ring.
Her beauty choices reflected her Wednesday character’s gothic aesthetic. Deep crimson lipstick and smoky eye makeup complemented her nearly jet-black hair, which was swept back into a sleek ponytail.
The actress also sported bleached eyebrows, a beauty trend she’s embraced throughout her recent promotional appearances.
This marked a dramatic departure from her 2024 Emmy appearance, where she opted for a romantic Dior Haute Couture ballgown adorned with floral embroidery.
The actress has been captivating audiences throughout her Wednesday promotional tour with increasingly adventurous fashion choices.
At the London premiere, she stunned in an Ashi Studio creation that resembled authentic snakeskin, complete with latex-like texture and frayed detailing at the hem and peplum. The sheer gown appeared almost liquid against her skin.
During a separate promotional event, Ms Ortega paid homage to the show’s creator by sporting a shirt emblazoned with an eerie illustration reminiscent of Tim Burton’s signature characters.
Her recent appearances have included a distressed charcoal bodycon dress and various gothic-inspired ensembles from designers including Simone Rocha and Vivienne Westwood.
